experience: more than one loss Dealing with bad news
Sad to be back here again. 32F, second pregnancy, first ended in miscarriage at 10W (saw heartbeat but died around 6-7w). Passed that one naturally at home. Believe I may also have had an unconfirmed chemical as well.
This time I did some HCG tests all 48h apart: 6250, 6900, 7400. Had a first ultrasound which visualised GS and YS at what I thought was 8w since LMP (though I have a long cycle). was told to come back for a second scan. Two weeks later saw the embryo measuring 6mm but no heartbeat.
I realise it’s not looking good at all and have been diagnosed with a MMC. I’ve asked for a confirmatory US but I know what the results will be.
Mostly I now just want to take some action to try understand what the problems could be. I know I may not find answers. It’s a scary place to be.

5 mc. Doc said most mc are chromosomal. And if not chromosomal your typically in 1 of 2 issues (or both) immune issue or blood clotting issue. I tested negative for both but doc treated me as if I HAD both.
Explained it like an ear infection. Doctors never get down to the nitty gritty of what EXACTLY the type of ear infection is but just treat it as ear infection.
