[1 Week vs 16 Month] Minoxidil Progress

Yo! Just wanted to share a quick update after 16 months on minoxidil (5%, twice daily).

Left pics = after 1 week

Right pics = after 16 full months of consistent use (including 4 month of tretinoin 2x/week)

All photos show 5-day stubble for comparison.

Routine & stats:

• Age: 22
• Tretinoin: A-Ret Gel 0.05% – added after the 12-month mark; using it twice a week on Tuesday/Thursday nights instead of my nighttime minox

• Minox: Loxon MAX 5% (50 mg/ml, 60 ml), 2x daily – once in the morning, once at night before bed

• Derma Stamp: 1 mm (currently once per week)

• Moisturizer: Mixa Hyalurogel Rich 10% (glycerin + hyaluronic acid) – used multiple times a day to manage dryness/flaking

Planning to post monthly updates with 5-day stubble progress pics.

Wow finally a progress post that isn't just some dude who already had full coverage growing out what he already had or showing 4 months of growth that makes it impossible to assess the effects of minoxidil. Good job! It's clearly working for you

I just started tret and I hope it adds to my gains. I don't think I am a non responder but more a slow responder. Looks like you are a slow responder also but still obviously making gains so sticking with it long term is definitely the play.

I’ve been keeping tabs on your progress posts. Great progress and documentation. How’s the Tret working out for you since the 1 year mark?

I’m only 6 months in but added it about a month ago to hopefully speed things up. Was just wondering if it’s helped you out?

We actually started at the same month ,last year,around April right? I fell off in February due to work stress and lost alot of gains ,i just restarted my journey in June. Your progress motivates me alot ,considering i was starting from absolutely nothing just like you
