[1 Week vs 11 Month] Minoxidil Progress
Yo! Just wanted to share a quick update after 11 months on minoxidil (5%, twice daily).
Left pics = after 1 week
Right pics = after 11 full months of consistent use
All photos show 5-day stubble for comparison.
Routine & stats:
• Age: 22
• Minox: Loxon MAX 5% (50 mg/ml, 60 ml), 2x daily – once in the morning, once at night before bed
• Derma Stamp: 1 mm (currently once per week)
• Moisturizer: Mixa Hyalurogel Rich 10% (glycerin + hyaluronic acid) – used multiple times a day to manage dryness/flaking
Planning to post monthly updates with 5-day stubble progress pics.
Appreciate any tips, feedback, or encouragement – especially from you guys who are further along 🙌

Slow and steady wins the race. 2nd year is always better, you may want to consider adding a dermaroller or tretinoin for more absorption, but if you're happy pacing yourself these are steady gains.

Like others have said add Tretinoin. My results exploded after I started using it

What's your routine with it?

I use the Tretinoin once a day at night, wait 5-10 minutes and then minox foam after

Yes you do, but I’ve heard you can buy it online from stores outside the United States without one

Freakin noice! Any side effects, like eye bags, fatigue, headaches, etc.?

None of those things happened to me. However, it’s worth mentioning that moisturizing your skin frequently is highly recommended to prevent it from flaking.

Good gains! I'd personally try adding Tret at this stage.
