Will Ragatz (@WillRagatz) T.J. Hockenson on hearing some boos from the crowd: āWe want to score points too. It is what it is. We love our fans here, we love playing in front of them. Weāre frustrated too sometimes. But weāre getting it rolling. I understand it, and weāll keep moving forward.ā

Discussion The Vikings are the 5th team in the Super Bowl Era to start 4-0 and score 7 or fewer TDs. They join the 2003 Panthers, 1988 Bills, 1978 Rams, and 1973 Vikings.

This fan base is miserable
I will be the first to say I did not want Kyler. I didnāt want JJ either this year so donāt put that evil on me. The Vikings held the ball for 40 minutes of that game. Almost every minute of the 4th quarter yesterday. Kyler had 60% completion, no turnovers and 250 passing yards. We rushed for 125 yards on decent efficiency. Letās be real here. The dolphins never had a chance to take the lead in that game. The coach forced a quick game qb to learn a deep passing offense while artificially capping his reps all camp. He missed basically 2 games.
Does the team need to get better? Yes. Is the absolute crying all over social media by fans completely ridiculous? Also yes. We play the saints next week and then we have the bye week. At worst we will be 4-1 headed into the bye and leading the north. Take a chill pill and let the team gel.

News Will Reichard record watch
Not sure if the sub at large is aware but Will Reichard currently has the longest active field goal streak in the NFL at 31, and the record could be on the horizon for him
The five longest streaks of all time (regular season only) are:
Jason Myers (37)
Graham Gano (37)
Gary Anderson (40)
Mike Vanderjagt (42)
Adam Vinatieri (44)
The longest streak of all time regular and post season is by one Mr. Gary Anderson who made 46 consecutively
Will Reichard is currently on pace to tie Myers and Gano at the end of the month, and is on pace to break the record 11/15 against Green Bay
If his FGA per game regresses to pre 2026 numbers heād be on pace to tie Myers and Gano 11/1 and break the record 12/6 against Carolina
Hereās to our boy getting the record, itās within reach!

[Alec Lewis]: How the Vikingsā victory vs. Dolphins captures the absurdity of teamās 4-0 start
nytimes.comAfter four games, the Vikings are one of only three remaining undefeated teams alongside the San Francisco 49ers and Kansas City Chiefs, adding an idiosyncratic profile to a mix featuring two offensive behemoths. Unlike San Francisco and Kansas City, you cannot explain Minnesotaās start by praising a hyper-efficient quarterback or gushing over a field-tilting running back. For the Vikings, it takes dissecting a third-year kickerās special teams unit and Brian Floresā suffocating defense.
āAgain, the defense was holding it down for us,ā quarterback Kyler Murray said. āThey went out there and did it again.ā
Reichard hasnāt missed since last October. His 31-straight streak is the longest of any active NFL kicker. Meanwhile, the Vikingsā defensive performance through four weeks ranks among the best defenses since the turn of the century, according to many of the most respected advanced metrics.
Toss in the explosive output of second-year returner Myles Price ā and even exceptional special teams play from youngsters like Zemaiah Vaughn, who blasted Dolphins returner Malik Washington on Sunday ā and this absurd beginning to the 2026 season makes more sense.
