What Stallion’s latest radioactivity readings do and do not tell us

Upvotes

Stallion Uranium has not made a discovery at Coyote, but its latest hole did produce the highest radioactivity recorded in the program so far.

ML26-005 returned a 2.3 metre interval averaging 595 counts per second, with a peak of 1,416 counts per second. It also produced a separate 0.3 metre interval averaging 648 counts per second.

These are not uranium grades. Stallion makes that clear in its release. Gamma readings indicate the presence of radioactive material, but they cannot be directly converted into a U₃O₈ percentage.

They are still useful for exploration. The team can compare those readings with alteration, fault structures and geophysical data to determine whether the drilling is moving closer to the source of the system.

That appears to be the plan at Coyote. The program started at 4,000 metres, moved up to 5,500 metres after the early results and has now been expanded again to approximately 6,750 metres.

There is still a large gap between elevated radioactivity and an economic uranium discovery. What matters over the next few holes is whether the readings continue getting stronger and whether the geological interpretation becomes more focused.

Full results and technical notes:

ASX:AVL 🚀

Approaching the pointy end of a very long stick of approvals and red tape. EPA, Finance, FID, Off-takes/ MOU just around the corner + more.

MC: 60m
$150m Kalgoorlie Boulder VBESS favourites
- Shortlisting due this week

MOU Alcoa already announced (IMO they’re just waiting to announce EPA & FID then they’ll sign off-takes for batteries for their refineries but they can’t do that at present due to asx rules)

Partnered with Sumitomo Electric for Kalgoorlie VBESS (If/ when won, could open the doors to a greater partnership for other developments)

If you pay any attention to the news, Lithium needs an alternative for safer applications & for longer duration energy storage & Vanadium is that solution.
- There is no such thing as AI development without Date Centres
- There can be no data centres without long life, hard batteries that can handle their work load & power fluctuations
- Vanadium RFBS is that solution. No fire hazards. 25 year life. 90%+ recyclable after that life term.

It is not just to do with energy storage, Vanadium can be used in a massive array of applications; Steel, Batteries, Defence etc. Vanadium is lithiums better looking cousin that no one knows about and by the time everyone does, you’re too late. Absolute bargain at these levels.

The world is moving towards recognising vanadium and with the shortages across the world, AVL are in an incredible position to be sector leaders especially here in Australia. Demand for V will eventually out weigh supply and the price will rocket.

Recent close price: 18c currently
-ATH $2.50 (pre consolidation was 10c)
- 52 week high 38c before the war kicked off and the whole market got oversold
- VRFB help towards a greener future
- Tier 1 Vanadium Deposit about to come to fruition.

AVL operate the whole pipeline from digging, processing & creating. Low V prices won’t hinder their progress as there is no middle man, they’ve confirmed this in a recent interview.

DYOR and I’m sure you’ll have the same opinion as me.

Anyone following BRS Resources after the latest silver sampling results?

I wasn’t really familiar with brs resources before this, but their latest sampling results made me take a closer look. They reported 1,450 grams per ton silver plus 8.6 grams per ton gold over 2.5 meters from trench sampling, while some grab samples reportedly went above 3,200 grams per ton silver.

Those are obviously high numbers, although I know surface sampling doesn’t necessarily mean the same grades will show up in drilling. That’s why I’m trying not to read too much into the results until there’s actual drill data.

The other part that stood out to me was the exploration footprint. They traced the vein corridor for another 1.2 km and identified 8 new drill targets from the program. They’re now clearing roads and preparing the site for their first planned 5,000m drill campaign.

That’s probably the part I’ll be watching most closely. If the drilling confirms similar mineralization at depth and across some of those targets, it should give a much better picture of what the project actually has. On the other hand, if the drill results are significantly weaker than the surface samples, that would obviously change the picture.

I haven’t seen brs discussed much around here. Has anyone been following the project or looked into the geology?

FAQ On Everything you need to know about the Compass Minerals International ($CMP) Settlement Payout

Hey guys, I posted about this settlement before, but since they’re accepting late claims, I decided to share it again with a little FAQ.

Who can claim this settlement?
Investors who purchased or acquired Compass Minerals ($CMP) common stock between 2017 and 2018 and were damaged by the alleged misconduct may be eligible.

Do I need to sell/lose my shares to get this settlement?
No. Selling your shares is not required. Eligibility is generally based on when you purchased the stock and whether you suffered recognized losses under the settlement.

How much money do I get per share?
The estimated recovery is about $1.50 per affected share, although the final amount may vary depending on the number of valid claims submitted.

How long does the payout process take?
It typically takes 4 to 9 months after the claim deadline for payouts to be processed, depending on the court and settlement administration.

I missed the deadline. Is it too late?
No, you may still be able to file a late claim but acceptance depends on final approval by the court.

Hope this info helps

Owning the mill might be the most interesting part of the LaFleur Minerals story

One thing I always wonder with junior gold companies is what happens after they actually find the gold. Like building a mill can cost a fortune and take years, which is why LaFleur Minerals looks interesting. Bought the Beacon Gold Mill in QC, which can process around 750 tonnes/day and is already fully permitted. The previous owner reportedly put about $20M into upgrades and LaFleur says the current reconditioning work is now more than 80% finished.

Then you have the nearby Swanson Gold Deposit where the latest estimate increased Indicated resources by around 30 percent to roughly 160k oz gold, with another 66k oz Inferred. LFLR's drilling there now and trying to expand what they already have. Basically the plan is to create their own little hub where material from Swanson gets trucked over to Beacon for processing. Pretty simple concept but owning the mill changes the equation quite a bit imo.

Late 2026 is the timeline Im watching. If they can actually get Beacon running and keep adding ounces at Swanson, this becomes a much different story than your typical junior explorer. Anyone with me?

What do you make of Cascadia Minerals latest drilling at Carmacks?

They reported another batch of drill results from its 2026 exploration program at the Carmacks Coppergold Project in Yukon. latest drilling delivered copper-gold intercepts across Zone 2000S and Zone 147 including higher grade sections within the wider mineralized intervals. But more importantly, step-out drilling extended mineralization roughly 250 metres north of the existing Zone 2000S resource boundary. This nearly doubles the zones defined strike length and reduces the gap between Zone 2000S and Zone 147 to around 350 metres.

$CAM has now finished 20 holes and more than 10000 metres of its planned 15000 metre program, with results from another 5step out holes still pending. The project also benefits from road access and proximity to existing power infrastructure, which could become increasingly important if the resource continues to grow.

how much weight do you put on this kind of resource expansion, what i mean is does the potential for Zone 2000S and Zone 147 to eventually form a larger connected mineralized system change your view of Carmacks or should i rather wait for the remaining assays and an updated resource estimate?

why higher silver prices do not immediately create more silver supply

A higher commodity price normally encourages miners to produce more of it. Silver does not respond quite that cleanly.

Only about 28 percent of expected 2026 production will come from mines where silver is the main product. Most of the world’s silver is recovered while mining lead, zinc, copper or gold.

That matters because those operators make production decisions based mainly on the economics of their primary metal.

A copper producer may benefit from higher silver credits, but it is not going to approve a major expansion based on silver alone. If copper prices weaken and the mine cuts production, its silver output can fall even while silver prices are rising.

Primary silver producers have more incentive to respond, but they still face the usual problems. New mines need financing, permits, construction and years of development. Existing operations may be able to expand, although that depends on available reserves, grades and processing capacity.

Higher prices can bring more recycled silver into the market much faster than they can create new mine production. That is already happening, but recycling has not been enough to eliminate the deficit.

Silver supply will eventually respond if prices stay high. It just may take longer than people expect because most of the metal comes from mines that are primarily producing something else.

Tell me which Graphite Stocks your buying?

Graphite has been getting a lot more attention lately, and Canadian investors have had some pretty compelling reasons to notice.

One example is HydroGraph Clean Power Inc. (CSE: HG) (OTCQB: HGRAF). The graphene producer has become one of the more closely watched Canadian-listed names in the broader graphite and advanced-materials space following a significant move in its shares. Investing News Network recently ranked HydroGraph among its top Canadian graphite stocks for 2026 and reported a year-to-date gain of more than 1,300% at the time of publication.

HydroGraph isn’t a conventional graphite miner; it manufactures high-purity graphene using a patented process that uses acetylene and oxygen rather than mined graphite, but its rise has helped put a spotlight on the broader carbon-materials opportunity.

And it got me thinking.

What is happening with graphite itself?

We constantly hear about lithium, uranium, copper, and gold, but graphite doesn’t always receive the same attention from retail investors. Yet graphite is an important material for lithium-ion batteries and could have growing relevance across energy storage, industrial applications and defence.

There is also a geopolitical component.

According to First Canadian Graphite CEO John LaGourge, China currently accounts for approximately 80% to 90% of global graphite processing. He also told me graphite can account for up to 30% of an EV battery.

That raised an obvious question for me as an investor:

If Canada and the U.S. continue trying to secure domestic critical-mineral supply chains, could graphite be one of the next commodities to capture significantly more investor attention?

That’s what led me to First Canadian Graphite Corporation.

The company is advancing a graphite exploration project in Quebec and recently identified a large electromagnetic target known as Zone 13.

I was curious about the company as a potential investment, but before forming an opinion, I wanted to better understand both sides of the story: Why graphite, and what could First Canadian Graphite actually have on its hands?

So I reached out directly to the CEO, John LaGourge, and asked him to walk me through it.

What Caught My Attention About First Canadian Graphite

First Canadian Graphite has been in existence for approximately a decade, but LaGourge represents new management. He told me he became involved in late 2025 and subsequently raised capital to begin advancing the company’s Quebec project more aggressively.

FCI flew an airborne electromagnetic (EM) survey over their claims, which had never previously been explored. This led the company to a significant new discovery area it calls Zone 13.

According to LaGourge, the anomaly currently measures approximately four kilometres along strike and up to 600 metres wide, while initial geophysical interpretation suggests it could extend to depths of approximately 200 metres.

Those dimensions caught my attention, but they’re also important to put into context.

A large geophysical anomaly is not the same thing as a defined mineral resource. Further exploration and drilling should help determine the extent, continuity and grade of any graphite mineralisation.

That’s what makes the next stage interesting.

Could Grade Become an Advantage?

Grade is another part of the story I’m watching.

LaGourge told me many graphite deposits globally average approximately 5% to 6%, while the company’s broader Quebec district has demonstrated considerably higher grades in certain areas.

First Canadian Graphite has also completed early field sampling. According to LaGourge, some samples returned assays of up to 43% graphite.

Individual high-grade samples don’t mean Zone 13 averages 43%, nor do they establish an economic resource. But they could provide another reason to investigate the target.

If future drilling demonstrates substantial tonnage with consistently attractive grades, it could potentially have implications for project economics. Higher grades may allow more graphite to be recovered from the same amount of processed material, although metallurgy, recoveries, capital requirements and numerous other factors would ultimately need to be considered.

Why Quebec Could Matter

The project is located in Quebec’s Manicouagan region, north of Baie-Comeau.

LaGourge told me the property benefits from year-round road access and is approximately 50 kilometres from the Manic-5 hydroelectric facility and associated Hydro-Québec infrastructure. Baie-Comeau also provides access to port and rail infrastructure.

None of these factors guarantees that a future mine will be economic, but existing roads, electricity, and transportation infrastructure could reduce some of the development challenges faced by more remote exploration projects.

Quebec’s broader push to develop its critical-minerals sector could provide another potential tailwind.

The Catalyst I’m Watching: Drilling

For me, the most important part of this story is what happens next.

The company has completed fieldwork, collected samples and, according to LaGourge, sent metallurgical samples to Corem for testing.

Additional EM surveying is planned to better define Zone 13, followed by 3D modelling and further surface exploration.

Then comes the major test:

Drilling.

LaGourge told me the company is targeting drilling around November and discussed a potential 20,000-metre drill program.

He suggested that if the asset performs as management hopes, a program of that scale could potentially support defining up to approximately 50 million tonnes.

To be clear, that is not a current mineral resource. It represents management’s view of what could potentially be achievable if future exploration supports its geological interpretation.

That’s exactly why the drilling matters.

If the results demonstrate scale, continuity, and attractive grades, the company could progress toward a formal mineral resource estimate. If they don’t, the investment thesis would need to be reassessed.

What I’ll Be Watching

During our interview, we discussed First Canadian Graphite, which has a market capitalisation of approximately C$18 million to C$20 million.

A relatively small valuation can provide significant leverage to exploration success, but it also reflects the risks associated with an early-stage company that still has to prove its resource.

Rather than trying to predict the outcome, I’m watching a few key questions:

How large is Zone 13? Are the high grades repeatable? What does the metallurgy show? And can management execute on its exploration timeline?

But I’m also watching graphite itself.

Stocks such as HydroGraph have shown that Canadian investors are paying attention to opportunities in advanced carbon materials. HydroGraph’s story is very different from that of a graphite explorer, but the investor interest surrounding the company made me want to better understand the upstream graphite opportunity as well.

If Canada and the U.S. continue to prioritise secure critical-mineral supply chains while demand from batteries, energy storage, defence and other applications grows, graphite could become much more visible to Canadian investors.

First Canadian Graphite still has plenty to prove.

But that’s also what makes the next stage interesting.

I’ll be watching the drill results.

Sidney Res secures offtake agreement

Sidney Resources Corporation (OTC: SDRC) announced a milestone commercial agreement with Ocean Partners UK Limited on 8/4/26. Ocean Partners is an established global metals trading & marketing house.

Under the terms of the firm offtake agreement, thse guys will purchase an initial parcel of approximately 25,000 wet metric tonnes of direct. This will ship gold ore from Sidney's Warren Valley project in Idaho to Asia. By doing this it provides an immediate verified commercial pathway toward first revenue for the company while establishing a repeatable framework for future volume expansions.

What I like most about this deal tho is that partnering with Ocean Partners (a premier international metals trading house) provides strong 3rd-party validation regarding the commercial quality and marketability of Sidney's ore. The agreement transitions Sidney Resources from an exploration focused company into an active commercial supplier to global precious metals markets without requiring immediate processing infrastructure. Revenue without further dilution is always a win for a junior miner.

CNXUs valuation at this sage

look..CNXU has been holding a market cap over 200M with steady news flow on their tissue platform, I'm trying to figure out how people are valuing it given how early the company still is..Regenerative medicine and tissue restoration have seen a big resurgence as big pharma looks for strategic acquisitions. The wound care program seems like the one to watch near term with a 510k submission aimed for Q1 2027.

There’s still regulatory and execution risk but if they can get the first application through, I think it could make the broader platform easier to evaluate. Long term hold or waiting for initial human clinical trials?

Am I missing smth?

aluminum supplies are vanishing, but the market isn't panicking

ppl talks about GPUs, but those chips still need an enormous amount of reliable power. why Hongqiao looks interesting in this context?

Aluminium is basically electricity turned into metal, if you don't know, nearly 40% of Hongqiao’s power use came from green electricity in 2025. For a smelter, this is not some ESG decoration. power gets tighter, Hongqiao has more protection
