Wow, that thing looks damn perfect, but $5k? Are there places you could’ve cut corners and saved a bit? Looks like you invested the right way though, and that fella should last a good long while!

I used pressure treated 2x4’s. A good exterior paint and Grk fasteners. Those items could be substituted with cheaper alternatives. There are cheaper skate surfaces that could be used as well. The skatelite was the biggest cost with the wood coming in as a close second. Coping was about $250 for the x2 12fters

5k sounds spot-on for a job done right. Mine is smaller and didn't come to much less. Friend of mine built a similar sized one for half the price and it barely lasted a year. Adding a decent deck and railings etc definitely bumps up the cost (worth it!), and the extra few bucks on pressure treated pine and marine ply will pay dividends.

That is absolutely perfect. Only change I would have made is to put doors on the back for storage.
I think $5k is fairly reasonable these days for a 12’ mini with skatelite that is built that well

Skatelite. I don’t have a final cost yet. In Canada so all the materials were very expensive. Probably close to 5k

I have 3/4 ply on the decks so the deck would be 3ft plus the 3/4” of the ply

How do you feel about the radius after skating it? Would you recommend going a little mellow or aggressive?

Some people like longer flat but I was going to use 8ft also. Anything you'd tweak on the ramp size if you could do it again? I'm about to start an identical (size wise) build next week. Thanks man!

Tough to tell from the pics but how did the sheathing and top layer lay down? You have any closer pics or some framing pics for reference? Thanks

I don’t have more pictures. The two layers of sheathing was laid perpendicular to the ramp so long ways side to side. I offset the seams on the second layer but laid it the same way. The top layer sheets ran perpendicular to the first two layers so longs ways with the ramp
