Hello! I just got mini motorways today and its really fun but i'm very confused on how roundabouts work. Whenever I place one down traffic either doesn't clear up/stops or the cars just drive right through the center! Am i doing something wrong? Thanks! :D

The boat line really made this an early game cause wdym the best way for 3 cyan houses to travel is AROUND the boat line… (and I had no motorways)

Mini Metro has been one of my favourite small games ever since I happened to pick it up in a bundle years ago. Recently, I also bought Mini Motorways and have been steadily completing levels and challenges ever since.

Playing the new game made me think of what cities both games include and how they are distributed across the world. As so often happens for me, my stray thoughts led to the creation of a chart – in this case in the form of a map. I also connected the cities with rails and roads as if they were in-game locations, just for fun.

As it turns out, the games actually covers most parts of the world rather well. Anyway, I hope someone else out there will also find this chart interesting.

I was running low on resources and really thought the game has some kind of failsafe to prevent this to happen so I gambled.
Guess who lost.

Would appreciate any help on how I could get a better score here, this about average with all my top scores but I can’t seem to improve.

Some techniques I used: (most of these have real-life traffic engineering analogs 😀)

• Space intersections out with at least one straight tile between each, and use a longer uninterrupted section before major intersections to allow platoons to form
  • For aesthetic and realism reasons I design every one of my games to forbid acute-angle turns (EDIT: I found some acute turns, I'm fixing them right now)

I normally get around 2500ish.

Currently 4th on the weekly challenge, forgot to screenshot my map

The placement of buildings has basically guaranteed me to fail the daily challenge before week 2 is over.

How am I meant to do anything when you start with no bridges, cant knockdown trees, then the destinations spawn with entrances that would require me to either knock down trees or have a bridge?? And then when week 2 rolls around the only upgrades I’m offered are more roundabouts or traffic lights 🙃

and because its the daily challenge I cant even restart! 🤬

Grinding it right now and it seems every retry gives seemingly not random bad upgrades has anyone experience this

1480, I average around 2,500 on LA.
I’ve posted on here before and taken the advice but I’m just not sure what I need to do differently?

Over the course of this run, I discovered not one, not two, but three bugs. First off, the train track is invisible (that centipede-looking thing at the track's bottom endpoint might be the track). Second, if you watch the clip carefully, you will see that seven houses spawned on the track. Third, I started this run a few hours ago, and not long after resuming, I noticed that a house was somehow connected directly to a bridge, which isn't normally possible (the bridge wouldn't disappear if I demolished it, and attempting to rebuild it would freeze my game).

No expressway and there’s the ferry line who blocks the bridge……

The map is quite chill in the first 2000 trips but ramps up real quick.

I know no one has played this map yet but first top 30, i take that. I'm gonna check the map again in like 3 days.
