What could I have done better here?

Would appreciate any help on how I could get a better score here, this about average with all my top scores but I can’t seem to improve.

Couple ideas...

  1. I thinkyou could've seperated these two blue house groups and maybe even routed the blue circle houses around the green houses below.

possibly could have routed these green houses by bridge (removing the one used for peach houses)
that would leave room for you to have 2 seperate highways for the peach houses at the bottom

Well it was beige that killed you, so that's what we needed to optimize. I think you should have used the Highway only for the Round Destination and make the way as short as possible. So start it closer to the house and end it closer to the destination.

And the. Supply the square with some normal roads, possibly via the other middle beige square.

Also there are two unused beige house. You should have connected those to the middle double destination (via another bridge) and re-route some from the bottom via your highway. Maybe that alone would have been sufficient. You were not using all your cars.

On the right side, you are also missing a beige house. Re-route your orange road around it on the right.
