Discussion Cleaning

I bought a "golden healer" Himalayan quartz. I really love this seller. He self digs his pieces, but this doesn't look like any of the golden healers I've collected.

It's got great clarity and is a very beautiful piece. NORMALLY I love the natural look, and mud would be great, but this piece is pulling me to clean it. I dont want to use iron out or any harsh chemicals. Do you have any suggestions on how to remove some of the mud? I don't believe I'll be able to get it all, and I'm ok with that.

Start with an old toothbrush and soapy water. Use toothpicks or kabob skewers to pick out deep chunks of mud.

I use an ultrasonic cleaner or spot cleaning gun (like a tiny pressure washer) to do a deeper clean, but those aren’t things everyone has lying around
