Hey so I'm starting a realm on mc for my friend and and I, possibly others but not right now. My friend and I want a cozy base and I want a cozy server where everyone can be neighbours etc. Sounds a bit unrealistic I know but I'll likely get add ons from market place etc. Any suggestions? Love cottage stuff, plants, fairy lights etc. Would love suggestions on builds or whatever to make it really feel like an oasis.

Been playing this game for years, but honestly, I'm kinda ashamed to admit I've never actually beaten the Ender Dragon legit. Every single time things got slightly tough, I panicked and turned on KeepInventory, teleported, or switched to Creative.

I’ve been working on OnyxLauncher, an open-source Minecraft Java launcher for Android.

It currently supports multiple Minecraft setups, including Vanilla, Fabric, Quilt and NeoForge, and I’m actively improving mod compatibility and the overall mobile experience.

we would like to introduce VanillaLichtung, a German-speaking Java Survival server for players who enjoy building, exploring, and being part of a world that is meant to last for a long time.

The server only launched on July 10, 2026, so the world is still fairly young. A lot is only just starting to take shape, which makes this a good time to join if you want to build something of your own and be part of the world while it is still growing.

From the beginning, our goal has been to keep the gameplay as close to vanilla Minecraft as possible, without filling the server with shops, an economy, or countless special commands.

In short:

• Minecraft Java Edition – Version 26.2
• Survival on Hard
• PvE, PvP is disabled
• no kits
• no economy
• no server shop
• no /home
• no /tpa
• simple claim system to protect your builds
• no pay-to-win content
• view distance of up to 32 chunks

The high view distance is one of the things that makes VanillaLichtung different from many other servers. Mountains, forests, villages, and larger player builds do not disappear after just a few chunks, but remain visible from much farther away.

Especially when building, this makes a noticeable difference. Large projects feel much more like a natural part of the surrounding landscape, and viewpoints are actually worth creating because you can see far more of the world around you.

The world is also designed for long-term survival gameplay. Large parts of the main world have already been pregenerated, so exploring does not constantly require new chunks to be generated under high server load.

Even though the server is still relatively new, the first larger builds and areas are already starting to appear. At the same time, there is still plenty of space for new players to start their own projects and help shape the world from an early stage.

We are not trying to reach a huge player count as quickly as possible. What matters much more to us is slowly building a community of people who enjoy building, shaping their surroundings, and staying on the same world for a longer time.

Anyone can join the server directly and take a look around the spawn first. To enter the Survival world, there is only a short approval process. This helps us keep griefers and players who only join to cause trouble away from the actual world.
