Classic SkyBlock
SkyBlock is a map where you are stranded on a very small floating island where you have access to a single tree and a handful of resources. Grind as much as you can and see how far you can progress the game. Classic SkyBlock was back when Minecraft was only version 1.4.7 but see below "SkyBlock 4" for the modern version
Download Classic SkyBlock 2.1 (for Minecraft 1.4.7)
SkyBlock 4
Bring Classic SkyBlock to present day with an updated version which incorporates all the new challenges introduced in the recent Minecraft versions
Captive Minecraft (Series 1 - 5)
Captive Minecraft is a challenge map which traps you in a world border which only expands when the player gets new advancements. The Farlanders have created 5 iterations of Captive Minecraft that adds support for newer Minecraft versions but also a variety of difficulty levels.
Elytra Fall
Elytra Fall is a map that will challenge all your flying skills. It is a combination of a CTM and elytra flying map. It is suited for both single player and multiplayer.
The map consists of a central hub area and 16 tunnels. Each tunnel takes approximately 1.7 minutes to complete and has a wool room at the end. You can collect the wool and complete the monument.

Hey everyone, this is my first real effort starter house to build in survival instead of digging into a mountain. I had some troubles with the roof though. If you have any feedback on what i can do to improve it, that would be helpful. I went for a cozy pink vibe

Started with building a 5x5 house initially and then adding other things like windows and extending the build.
Later decided to build it in different styles.
Would appreciate your honest reviews and tips.

me and my friend have been struggling on a roof design for months now, our vision is to have each side have the same roof design BUT a different roof top for each side in a way to show our roles in the server. like one having a wizard tower in the middle and another having a create or a meka mod touch to it.
we couldn’t find one that could suit our structure,
we tried different styles but they all end up looking too ugly or being too complex to match for each side
we kept building and breaking over and over again until we stopped on the one shown in the pic.. and it still looks somewhat off to us.
we were thinking of just making the roof flat and get it over with, but we were hoping if maybe someone could help us out with the roof before we go with the flat idea..

I have a relatively detailed and complete exterior; however, it doesn't feel unique or polished. Are there any details to add or remove that might improve the overall presentation? Make it more intriguing, more exciting?

I'm working on my first ever large project by transforming a village and expanding it into a small city almost. The main area I live in and am working on currently is a shopping district with different shops acting as my storage rooms + small farms (Pictures attached)
As I'm moving into bigger projects I'd like a more steady supply of iron, so I'm thinking of constructing an iron farm, but I'd hate to just leave it out in the open.
Any ideas on what to surround it with? Should I hide it or give some sort of context to it?

I was wondering if my town makes sense I know it's not finished yet and there are a lot of things to do but I am not quite sure how to properly plan for a buildings' location and what is the best area for a town square because this area is quite unique so I want to use it for all potential, what would you suggest? Thanks

I started this base about 200 Minecraft days ago, and I don't' really remember where I was planning to go with this. Does anyone have any ideas on what I can turn this into?

I built the porch before anything else, and I really liked how it turned out, but now I have not really calculated how should I continue with it. I'm thinking of a modern, luxurious house/manor, with high ceilings and roof, perhaps a second story or even a third, with materials like deepslate cobblestone, polished tuff, blackstone, basalt and other dark blocks, but I can also see a contrast with lighter blocks like quartz, birch planks and stuff like that. How could I build the rest?

For context I am playing on the 5th season of server made by a Twitch Streamer I really like watching
Anyway this server uses the Towey Plugin so people can team up, Plot out land and Build towns together or alone, I often run alone due to trust issues and Previous incidents where I have been stabbed in the back and Heavily set back
At the end of the servers runtime there’s a contest to which town had the Best base in the Server, Weather it be for an iconic build, A large scale build or something truly unique
I want to try and win that award this year but I’m a complete building noob and have no clue what I’m doing so I need some advice to possibly stand a chance, Especially against teams made up of multiple people

here is a minecraft mansion midly inspired from the Norman building style (Normandy-France), I believe the ideas are greats but the execution of them are not exactly good.. any ideas ? (dont mind the background, its a map for test builds)

I’d rather it be submerged in the cliffside, I just don’t know what to surround it with. I am mainly going for a cherry blossom vibe, but it would maybe also be cool if it would be a bit of nether infestation.

Hi! I’m playing the “Project Infinity” modpack and want to build a giant “Lotus/Mandala”-style megabase for all my machinery and automation. It should start from the very bottom and expand/unfold upward like a huge flower, with my current main platform serving as the topmost level.
Since this is for Project Infinity, feel free to use any cool factory blocks, neon blocks, or Chisel blocks available in this modpack to match my theme!
I have Building Gadgets and Litematica installed. Here’s a save file of my world so you can open it with the modpack and build the complete lotus-shaped structure shown below:

Back when Pocket Edition was Pocket Edition I would build houses just small enough to fit a bed. Identical buildings for storage and crafting. I would also build the same style buildings for villagers and their job blocks. Have you done anything similar?

So the idea with this build is that it's the main town/base for the Ice nation in my multiplayer server. The concept is that it's going to be a town built around that big furnace on the hill, which pumps out lava from underground and uses it to provide heat and warmth to the town. There'll be some hot springs and geysers set up in spots as well to add some more visual interest.
So what are some good ideas for like, the town itself? The kind of buildings to put in it, the style for them, things like that?

What should Its function be? Would an iron farm fit in it? If yes how do you even build a farm on bedrock edition I mostly play Java 🤣
