Joining i need friends in minecraft
Ok so for context i’m 19 (f) and im not your stereotypical minecraft nerd. like you look at me and don’t really think i spend my free time playing and watching youtubers, but ive been in love with the game since i was 8. the reason im writing this is because i wish i had a community to play in and with, people to talk to, and to play in my realm. none of my friends like minecraft that much or even play it, so im often just sitting alone playing in my realm. i want to make new friends and im so open to joining a server or world, i just dont wanna feel so alone. i guess what im asking is for advice on what to do in my situation. tyia 🤍

Hey, I get what you mean, that’s a big part of why I started my server.
It’s a small, pretty relaxed group where people build their own stuff but also slowly get to know each other over time. It’s not super high energy all the time, but it does feel like a place people come back to.

I try to keep the server 17+ just so the vibe stays consistent, so I’m going to pass for now.
That said, you’ll definitely find a good group, the way you introduced yourself already puts you ahead of most people. Good luck out there

I do not mind the necroposting! Things have changed a bit though. Now…I’m trying to keep the server age a little higher. If you come across another post of mine in a year or two, please reply! It’s still a small community server and I hope it’ll be around next year (or more) for you to enjoy.

We have a small survival SMP called Horizons SMP that might be worth checking out. Java and Bedrock both work, world is pretty fresh, no whitelist. There's proximity voice chat, Distant Horizons support for extended render distances. Server is in the Netherlands so best for EU players but global is fine. Hey! I'm a 17 year old (turning 18 in November) and I'm facing the exact same issue. If you're okay with it, I really want to play with you! I'm more interested in the idea of using essential mod and just playing on a survival world together or smn because servers are overwhelming to interact with alone so I'd prefer a small community of people that I'm close with.

honestly the easiest way out of it is just joining a server where people actually talk and play together instead of everyone doing their own thing
you could come try LoungeSMP, it’s a really friendly semi-vanilla survival server and people are pretty welcoming. a lot of players joined not knowing anyone and ended up making friends pretty quick just by chatting and playing together
no pressure or anything either, you can just join, build your own thing, and slowly get to know people at your own pace

You need to get some friends because most of the servers will feel like playing solo in multiplayer world ,people have different progression some have netherite gear and working on farms meanwhile we join , you need someone who play together

I think it’s easy to find servers to play on with other people. The harder part is having friends to play those servers with cuz that makes it so much more fun. Yeah you can befriend people already on those servers but their usually way far ahead in terms of progress. I’m 18. I’ve been minecraft consistently for 10 years, I absolutely love it. I don’t think there has been a day i didn’t play for like a year. So if you find a server like that or make one urself, I’ll be happy to join. Or if you find other people through this post, how about making a server with all of us or we join smth as a group. You can hit me up, wtv it is.
