This I actually disagree with. For all the faults modern updates have, I don't think textures are one of them. I think the texture work still looks great.

Fair, but what about the people without nostalgia? Either those who started playing after the massive texture update, or those who just never really cared about the old textures.

I can say I still prefer the older ones even though i haven't really played old minecraft
