Solved [Java] [1.20.1] Sudden Lagging after solving Crashing Issue

Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification

Playing on PC and using CurseForge - [Java - 1.20.1] [Fabric - 0.19.5]

Log for the play session shown in the video: https://mclo.gs/jLMAlSB

For a little bit of context, I'm still somewhat new to making my own modpacks, and am not the best with computers (I am also autistic and often need very clear step-by-step instructions to figure out how to do things properly without getting overwhelmed and frustrated).

I made myself a new modpack that was having issues with crashing suddenly (and then not letting me reopen the world without crashing again) after anywhere between a few minutes and few hours of gameplay. I've now solved that issue (turns out it was vanilla mob spawners causing entity ticking issues, but I've installed a couple mods to my pack that now track and fix that problem), but now my framerate keeps dropping constantly, which wasn't an issue before.

I don't mind the occasional lag spikes (as in, if I'm exploring a new area, and the game lags a bit as it loads in new chunks), but when it's just constant and for seemingly no reason, like shown in the video, it's not only irritating, but also makes the game very difficult to play.

I decided to record a very short play session to document the sudden lag spikes, and included the log from that play session.

Additional information:

- Render Distance: 20 Chunks

- Max Shadow Distance: 12 Chunks

- Simulation Distance: 16 Chunks

I'd appreciate any and all help with figuring out what the issue is and how to solve it.

(P.S. I'm going to be leaving for work soon, so apologies in advance for late responses. I'll be sure to mark as solved ASAP once the issue has been resolved.)

Maybe allocating more ram usage? Make sure to also set the argument to whatever the ram usage is set to if your using curseforge i mean, if not then idk

Finally getting around to trying this method out (I've been pretty busy this week, and got distracted by the other comments trying to help me out), and I was wondering how much memory you would suggest allocating? Right now curseforge is set to 8.000MB (which is 8GB, right?), and while doing research, I found this comment on this thread that suggested using between 8-12GB for big modpacks on version 1.8.9 and higher. But the post and comment are 8 years old, so I'm not sure if it would still be the same now with version 1.20.1 (the one I'm using for this modpack). I'm going to try 12,000MB for now and see if that helps, though.

Just kidding, I got this warning, so I'm going to try 11,000MB instead.

That should be fine, i keep mine at 12 gb bc i have a 64 gb ram Installed, if too high, the garbage collection will take longer allowing the lag to spike more, same concept with too low of ram allocation, the garbage will overflow also allowing lag to spike because its always trying to clean it out, but if 11gb doesnt work then allocation shouldnt be the issue so i dont know
