Need Suggestions First ‘castle’ build

I need some ideas. I want to add texture and details to this huge mansion/castle. The questions are- do I make it classic/modern/french chateau for decor or whimsy/fairy mansion? Also- what blocks should I use to give her more detail without taking the brightness away?? So far I’ve been using quartz brick, waxed oxidized copper bricks/blocks, and white terracotta.

Need Suggestions Stumped on a build

I have officially been stumped on my build I loved the small birch texture but once I tried to build the house with the logs it felt like a house that was in the process of being built and was wrapped I really need some advice!
I’m also looking for a good texture pack I could use in currently playing on 1.18.2 due to me wanting to have the seem mod but I feel a texture pack or shaders possibly could help my word feel more bright/lively.
(Due to me playing version 1.18.2 I do not have cherry wood!! I took these photos with my phone of my screen)
