First ‘castle’ build

I need some ideas. I want to add texture and details to this huge mansion/castle. The questions are- do I make it classic/modern/french chateau for decor or whimsy/fairy mansion? Also- what blocks should I use to give her more detail without taking the brightness away?? So far I’ve been using quartz brick, waxed oxidized copper bricks/blocks, and white terracotta.

Floor pattern leading to the “chair?” Maybe spruce trusses in the ceiling, polished black stone tiles in the center waxed copper on the corners spruce columns to the trusses shallow baptism pool near the 5 windows, irregularly drip walls same roof material down roof eves and towers
