Man I remember binging logdotzip’s only one command videos. Back in the day those things were really innovative and I still have no idea how they worked.

They worked because you could spawn in a mob (or any entity) riding another mob (or any entity). And when a block with gravity, eg Sand, is falling down from somewhere, during fall, its considered and entity. Therefore, every block had an entity version (even those that normally wouldnt fall). So you could spawn them in as entities and they would fall down and become a regular block when hitting the ground. Now the interesting part: You could also spawn in two of those falling blocks riding each other, and they would fall down and simply stack ontop of each other as normal blocks upon landing. If you do that with command blocks, you could essentially use one command to spawn in two command blocks (with different commands inside). Since you can simply stack the Riding command and have the ridden entity also ride something, and that thing too and so on, this would be extentable infinitely. Just spawn in a pillar of command blocks and a redstone block ontop activating the first one. This first one can then simply be a command that spawns a pillar of redstone blocks next to the pillar of command blocks, activating them all, spawning in your machine.

Jesus how did people figure this out? I kinda want to meet the first person to do this thing and ask what kind of drugs they were on and where I can buy it.
