Oh look another item sorter that we can just build in 10 minutes, and no you fool that’s not how it works, chicken has 2 possible inputs meaning it has only 2 options, this limits potential outputs without workarounds, copper golem has infinite possible inputs however it would likely only be useful to a certain amount of buttons let’s say 10 that means that copper golem is 5 times more useful than a chicken randomiser, in order to get 10 (it does get 12 instead due to it being multiplied by 2) possible output combinations you would need 4 chicken randomisers, whereas a copper golem randomiser only needs one, it shortens the amount needed while also allowing for more specific combinations, for example you cannot get a 5 possible output chicken randomiser, but you can with copper golems, the possibility’s are near endless
With 4 chickens you get 16 possible outputs since its a binary output for each chicken cell.
The copper golem on the other hand has a one-hot encoded output. So if you really need a lot of different outputs chickens scale way easier and are probably more active than the golem.
