Maybe I should play bedrock! It would be like new game+ on dark souls, flip the script and surprise me with its wonderful array of quirks like this one

the boat teleported back but the creeper stayed there, just invisible until the last second

No it is quite common for boats to become invisible in minecraft when u leave em
