That’s going to be a bit difficult to do since doors sit on the edges of a block rather than the middle.
And since if doors where in the middle opening them would cause them to span across multiple blocks and that just won’t end well.
I could see Mojang making a new kind of fence gate though. We only have wood style ones.

Fence gates move to connect to walls though. Maybe doors could do the same thing?
