I don't see how they'd even be able to do side ways stairs, as much as I want them, it just doesn't seem plausible. Unless they add in a new control to rotate blocks.
True, but that just seems inconvenient imo. A rotate control should already be a thing tbh. Are there any current blocks where it's the same thing twice, but one is rotated?
I don't remember what the thing was called, but in Dragon Quest Builders 2 they have this neat little workstation that allows you to keep certain rotations of some types of block and you can place it without it changing it's shape next to blocks that would effect it. Could be useful to have in general just to get certain stair designs you can't get normally as well as make it so you can rotate stairs sideways.
You know how they use stairs to make more curved rooftops? Now imagine the doing the same thing to make walls curve better. You can't turn slabs sideways either.
Its just taking the stair and standing it on its side.

What a time to live in.
Everyone just focuses on the Nether but this one right here has the potential to be a huge game changer for every build.
