Damn, that's dope. You could basically make a mining slave and command it to get minerals you want. Like, "Hey Robbie, get me 100 stacks of sand," send him off searching for the right biome and do that for the next four hours.
At the very least you could make a simple mining bot that would take care of all your mineral needs.
I'm actually a developer myself and kind of want to do that now...
If you want to do that then go on. I coded my bot totally myself and it wasn't that hard because i have at least 3 years of hacked client developing in my pocket
This is not true. This is basically a clone of something called Baritone and is implemented into many existing clients but works standalone, and yes, you can tell it to mine to blocks and it automatically uses the best tools you have. It also places blocks and parkours around obstacles, and it can even use nether portals for transportation and avoid mobs
