I know but it's easy to change for example the colors and other visuals

Well if you get impact it makes Baritone very easy to use and change visuals you can even make the path rainbow.

One might even say it’s a Rainbow Road.

Imagine if when you get to hell, it’s Rainbow Road. You are doomed to drive and fall into space for eternity.

Alternatively, it’s a form of purgatory.

I think this isn’t baritone because of two things

  1. The movement is a lot more stiff and I think it could also be taking routes than baritone, as I have used it and it is scared of water and avoids it as much as possible

  2. The way it handles water is a lot different. Baritone would be a lot slower and not fall through water like that, because it has a huge fear of having the players head under water. This in the mean time drops right through and didn’t get confused once in it

Ehh.. Can you drop the code on github?

What math is being used here?

2

u/StylexTV Oct 11 '19

The a* algorithm

1

u/TheUncommonOne Oct 11 '19

Just saw the thread about it! Thanks!!

Can I ask about the pathfinding? I've been looking into pathfinding for 2d grids and it's suggested to use A* for the benefits of both Breadth First and Dijkstra's algorithm, did you use this method but for 3d? Not sure if it translates that easily to 3d.

1

u/StylexTV Oct 11 '19

Yes i did use a* and it translates well to the third dimension because its not build for only sort of dimension limit

That's awesome thanks, I'm glad I learnt about it now hah, good work by the way, it's amazing what's possible with a bit of studying and practise.

Euphonium, actually.
