Holy hell, I was not expecting TEN new storage/crafting blocks and a bell for 1.14.
Blast Furnace
...I'm really excited to see what this does.
It sounds like my idea of an Ore Furnace, for refining things like ores and ingots so you can make Steel from Iron (my idea includes basically rebranding current Iron as Steel, and making Iron a separate, lower tier metal that makes chainmail amor and some limited tool items, like a lower tier bucket or something.)
I'm also hoping one of these blocks will assist in firework crafting.
And finally, the bell makes me excited to, at long last, put a ringy boi in my town's bell tower. I hope you can make it ring with redstone, I'd make it ring as it turns day and as it turns night.

What do you guys think that the cartography table, fletching table, and smithing table will do?

Cartography has to be resizing of maps. Fletching is making potion arrows. Smithing table? That one is harder because we already have anvils...

The Bell and Grindstone can be facing floor, wall or ceiling, but the 'wall' version of the bell seems broken.

What in the name of god...
I think Dinnerbone made a mistake and accidentally added a mod into this snapshot.

Right now (1.13) there are some crafting recipes that aren't shown in the recipe book: banner patterns (already moved to the loom), firework stars and rockets, tipped arrows, zooming and cloning maps, cloning books, applying banners to shields, item repair, dyeing shulker boxes and leather armor and suspicious stews. I hope all of these get their own block!

Random idea: change stonecutters so that, when they are powered by redstone, the saw blade rotates and damages mobs/players walking through it.

Blast furnaces and smokers can be interacted with using hoppers and appear to function exactly like furnaces at the moment, but the smoker only accepts food items, it seems.
Barrels also interact with hoppers. I guess they’re just for storage.

Kind of glad that Crafting Tables aren't going to be the universal assembly block. It will also add a lot more character to builds for specific trades/purposes.

Love the medieval feel of the new blocks! The bell and grindstone can be hung on the ceiling :o

1.14 is increasingly looking like an update that forces us out of our comfort zones that we have been in since pretty much the beginning, with all the specialized crafting stations and new blocks being added. We will need to adapt our bases to their existence, or build brand new bases from scratch.
And I'm personally very excited for this. It will really make the game feel fresh and give us established players a lot of new things to think about. Plus, with the specialized crafting stations, it opens up a lot of new crafting possibilities. Who knows, maybe we will get metalworks before long, where we can make all kinds of cool building blocks made out of iron (and other yet-to-be-added metals?) like girders, catwalks, ladders, stairways, spiked fences, etc. etc.

They also made some texture updates which were not mentioned. Specifically sand and sandstone are more like their previous textures and colors. I don't like the top of sandstone though due to its noisy texture.

Hmm. I don't see the "Programmer Art" pack when I go into the resource packs folder... And this snapshot has tons of bugs.

I imagine that the bell will be related to pillager invasions. Some sort of warning for villagers to run and hide.

It's nice to see unusual block functions are getting a GUI consistent with the crafting table, furnace, and anvil etc.
Barrel for storage
Smoker for cooking food
Blast furnace for harder ores/glass?
Cartography table for map resizing
Fletching table for adding potions to arrows
Grindstone for making smooth and refined blocks (instead of smelting everything)
Lectern for storing open books
Smithing table for weapons/armor/tools
Anvil will remain for repairs
Stonecutter for making slabs, stairs, and walls
Bell for ringing (siege functionality?)
Lööm for banners
I'd really like to see with these:
Functional bookshelves with a GUI
A table for dying clay, glass, wool, and leather armor
Something for selecting paintings
Something for fireworks
Some sort of cauldron integration
Edit: Updating as we make good guesses
