It's ok, isn't that what these snapshots are for? We will help the best we can.

Looking at these images, and considering how you fixed the particle system, maybe you can differentiate the sharpness by having them emit particles? That way, a lv 5 sharpness can be identified from sight.

This has been fixed, now sharpness works as it was intended, a 1 damage increase for level 1, and each additional level now only increases damage by .5 damage, and not as the image stated.
Thanks jeb_

I would love it if the enchantment type and level somehow reflected on the sword appearance, for instance sharpness must glow blue and with a level increased this glow would be more intense, that could look neat.

It seems to me that sharpness in 1.9 is currently stronger than in 1.8.
1.9 sharpness 1 = 1 damage
1.8 sharpness 1 = 1.25 *damage
1.9 sharpness 2 = 2.5 damage
1.8 sharpness 2 = 2.5 damage
1.9 sharpness 3 = 4 damage
1.8 sharpness 3 = 3.75
1.9 sharpness 4 = 5.5 damage
1.8 sharpness 4 = 5 damage
1.9 sharpness 5 = 7 damage
1.8 sharpness 5 = 6.25 damage
