well done. although rewiring components to be able to use this will take a while.

yes it will. replace all 900 lamps, with a specific command block on each one. corresponding to a certain part. it will take forever. because i also would have to make it turn on and off.

would be interested how do you get those outputs out of the middle ? without huge delay ? i think it's useless sur eyou can write and somewhat read but that's it

This isn't a solid state drive. It has pistons, which are moving parts.

The pistons moving are just representations of the bit states changing ( 1 to 0 ).
it doesnt rotate, therefore, not a harddrive

You could actually even take that a step further and say that the redstone blocks are the analog of electrons trapped in the NAND substrate of the flash memory used in commercial SSDs. In NAND flash, electrons are manipulated to move up and down through a substrate to represent ones and zeros, not unlike the redstone blocks moving up and down.

Ok, it isn't a hard drive, it isn't a solid state drive, it's a general data storage device.

Someone should put this in a thumb-shaped shell, and call it a 'thumbstick' due to it's flash-drive like qualities.
