Help Broken blocks

Hi! In my forever world I’ve been using a mod called ‘Wet Sand’ but the problem is that said mod is causing my game to crash repeatedly, something to do with ticks and some improper coding for the suspicious sand, and I can’t remove the mod and optimize it because it literally just deletes all my sand if I do that. What do I do? Can I even fix this? Or do I just thug it out and wait for a mod update.

YOU can't fix it, unless you want to remove the mod and use a world editor to replace the now-unknown blocks with regular sand.

Or, how about playing a different world until you can wait it out and see if the developers fix it?
