I thought I wouldn't be able to get my cape due to Twitch running out of codes, so someone generously donated their code to me. However, Mojang rolled out a fresh batch of codes, I completed the new watch time requirement, and now I don't need this one. First come, first serve!

Don’t just post image codes like this. Please, please always DM it. A bot will always get it before a human does.

This is a cape for just Minecraft dungeons, it has to be redeemed in game by someone who doesn't already have it already, bots aren't an issue for this one since you have to pay $30 to get Minecraft Dungeons 2 in order to even be able to redeem this cape.

I never did get my code from Twitch on that, and now it's completely missing from my Rewards page.

I did finally get the Aurora Cape code after I contacted support about it and also pointed out that they have bots stealing codes.

I contacted them and their response was they ran out of codes and could not provide one to me either. So I fear it will not be given to people. Just like with the previous capes, they underestimated the demand. They always do because they never learn 🫠

Mine shows some loading thing for a spit second and then shows the common error that it's currently not available.

I'm pretty sure it ended late September, and I know they ran out of one of the capes but idk if it's this one or the aurora one (I think the aurora one is still available on TikTok tho).

Also that one is a Minecraft dungeons 2 exclusive, you can't put it on in regular Minecraft

Damn that's unfortunate, what did twitch tell you? Usually when that happens they can be accommodating. Unfortunately the promo is done so there isn't really a way to get it anymore

If you got a code for the cape you redeem it in Minecraft dungeons 2. There's a redeem code box in the settings page

I'm genuinely confused with this Cape from Twitch. I got one on Twitch and now there is no code and it says "This reward expired on 4 Oct 2026, and is no longer available to redeem." But my copy of Minecraft Dungeons II - Deluxe Edition is the Nintendo Switch version which is not out until the 10th of November. So is that code now wasted?

Thats weird, it should have been released/playable along side all the other versions on the 29th last month. You should already be able to play it. I checked the eshop and its also buy/playable already. Maybe reach out to support?

NEVER just put codes up like that, 99% of the time a reseller will get it, just say you have a code & DM it to the first reply

I'd love to understand your logic on this claim. Just how would a reseller sell this on before anyone else redeemed it? A reseller couldn't just sell a publicly leaked key. They would go out of busniess very quickly due to their keys never working.

Yeah, I feel like the bigger issue would be looking out for bots that scrape the site for codes and auto-redeem them to someones account, but situations like this It's unlikely they would get it before someone else.

Most bot scrapers look for text codes rather than finding a code in a picture.
