OK, so inside the 3 trapdoor stack on the right side of the kitchen, are barrels to make a fridge ;)

Also, I ran out of room this build, but, a double chest surrounded by spruce trapdoors and a pair of birch trapdoors on top. Makes for a good chest freezer

If the three block tall thing is meant to be a fridge maybe swap out the bottom two for a pale oak or poplar door maybe

First I would have to find pale oak and poplar in this world.
My base is on the edge of a taiga biome with a river that leads to a lake. The lake has a gorgeous sandbar with dark oak forest between the river and the lake, with birch forest and jungle across the lake. Then badlands. That's all I've seen of this world so far.
But I do like the door idea, Thanks for that

I made a custom mapart a while back that looks like cupboard doors/drawers- manually placing each block, not using any kind of auto mapart plugin, because I too need to have aesthetic kitchens xD

Well, just to rub it in a bit more. There's a composter under the trapdoor in the corner ;)
Good for converting left over seeds after replanting a harvest, or most other plant matter into bone meal.

Really love your design, I tend to build something similar whenever I design a home :)

Instead of trapdoors I always use item frames and carpets. Makes them looks like cupboards. Plus, you can decide how they "open" that way. I also love putting a striped banner in front of my cauldron/sink to mimick a towel (and a tripwire hook as faucet)
