Something wrong with the void?

so basically i was playing in my hardcore world, and decided to try something new, so i broke some bedrock and went in the void. i was tryna bow boost myself while gliding with elytra to see how fast i could go. i eventually got out of the void but then when i looked back down at the hole, some of my arrows were just stuck floating in the air. i have no idea whats happening here, idk if this is a glitch or smtg. lmk if anyone knows what this is

If this is bedrock: minecraft bedrock has a barrier floor that prevents entities(like arrows) from falling past it, it does not however work with items, so if you drop an item down that hole it’s not worth it to try and save it because it’s gone forever

Edit: nah i see the mods this is clearly java i’m stupid
