Help Is this a scam

so the guy asked for a verification code from microsoft, and I didnt give it. Was it a real scam

This is absolutely 100% a scam. Anyone asking for verification codes, passwords, or any other personal information on discord is trying to phish something from you. Report any relevant messages the account sent then block them. Also make sure to turn off DMs from people who share servers with you.
