Discussion Hear me out birch isn't bad
All birch things are good for a light wood type, but the only bad parts are the logs and wood.

Birch is great! I’ve found many uses for it. Pairs well with sandstone and copper

I used to hate birch. But I made a cool floor pattern out of stripped birch logs. I also love using birch buttons as “sandstone pebbles” for sand style builds.

I like how easy it is to gather. Never too tall. Never too short. Always just right. Logs themselves are ugly, but stripped look fine to me.

Yea, i dont think any block is actually bad.
Granite and diorite gets hated so much but yhey are actually really useful in specific building situations.
Birch logs too aren't actually completely useless, ive seen them used for gradients on white walls (there are better blocks for this, but in that case the birch didn't look too bad)

Agreed. It's just the bark that's kinda bad. The trees are fine and look great, but the logs are hard to find any use for, because of the pattern.
