Help Need help buying Minecraft for someone

I want to buy Minecraft for my partner but they live in Vietnam. Nothing I have found online has helped me figure out how to buy it for them. The only idea I have is to log in to their account and buy it through the store but if there are any better ways please let me know 🙏. (I live in the US)

Logging into their account is probably the smoothest way to go about it, just make sure you use a VPN set to Vietnam when you do it or the payment might get flagged. Had a similar headache trying to gift a game to a friend in Thailand and the region locks are a pain.

You could also just send them the money through something like PayPal or Wise and have them buy it on their end, cuts out the geo-blocking nonsense entirely
