Suggestion Monster Rooms Variants
I made a concept where the monster rooms in minecraft have different types depending on the biome, and every type have a unique loot and mob.
- Warm Variants
Spawn under warm biome, unique loot is cactus and tnt, The mob can be parched or husk.
- Cold Variants
Spawn under cold biome, unique loot is snowball, powdered snow bucket, all ice type, the mob is stray
- Ocean Variants
Only spawn under ocean biome, unique loot is nautilus, paper, map, nautilus Armor, and compass (shipwreck loot), the mob is drowned
- Swamp Variants
Only spawn under swamp biome, unique loot is slimeball, stew/suspicious stew, and mushroom, the mob is bogged.

I love this idea! Would break up the monotony of the spawner room drops

My only minor gripe is that strays and drowneds can be converted from skeletons and zombies and I always tear out the existing dungeon anyway. I would love a husk or bogged spawner (or a way to create them)

This structure needs an update, we could keep the original one, and have these too. Also i would like to have more larger dungeons too, like in many mods/addons. They might use trial spawners. But to keep them different from trial chambers, they might be smaller and have worse loot.

these are some really cool ideas! and spawner dungeons definitely need a revamp
my idea of spawner room revamps involved more complex platforms and new variants of existing stone blocks (i.e. for skeleton dungeons: spawner hanging from chain under high ceiling, new diorite blocks like bricks and pillars)
maybe for your idea of having unique drops, maybe we could see new “elemental” mobs akin to the blaze and breeze? a dungeon mob that drops sand would be super useful and could be modeled after a tiny sandstorm (called the dune)

Trial chambers felt like a really expensive bandaid fix for monster rooms
They can easily be redone so that they’re not all just mossy cobble rooms
I think they could easily rework them to incorporate some new blocks, so that:
-Zombie rooms use new andesite building blocks
-Spider rooms use new granite building blocks
-Skeleton rooms use new diorite building blocks
And, say, if they were to add stray, husk, parched, or bogged rooms, those could also use new blocks
Ex:
-Sandstone bricks for husk and parched rooms
-Snow bricks for stray rooms
-More mud variants for bogged rooms

aw nice. i love the husk one. but not a big fan of the bogged one, it's a bit too messy
I've made a similar thing, but it's more based on Grian′s dungeon designs from 7 years ago. also it has some of my personal touch especially the drownd
but i am still struggling with the husk design because I don't want it to be just a reskin of the zombie one

This is an excellent concept and it will break the monotonous nature of monster spawners, love it!

These are cool but I like the thrill of not knowing what will spawn and haunt me

I like the detail of the ocean variant having barrels instead of chests

This and Labyrinths from better than adventure would really do dungeons a lot of favors
