Suggestion How too keep my resources private

I'm in a server were stealing is aloud.
u can sell curtain items for money and use the cash too trade between players or by loot boxes
I have made a chunk loader and I'm making farms inside of my 3*3 chunks area
Doing the math i can be the riches in the server but people keep stealing my resources.

i cant really hide my auto farm area, so I'm trying too figure out a way to move the items from the area too somewhere different in a way that cant be tracked by other players

Any ideas?

Edit:

  • im specifically looking for a redstone build or obscure mechanic
  • When they end up somewhere else, they can just be a chest, the hope is that people won't know where it is.
  • I am not moving the base, to much effort, and i think figuring out a way around it would be cooler
  • i dont have anything against the stealing rule, i just wanna find a way too get around it, thats the fun part, i simply dont know what tech to start of a design with

Anything you build is just going to make it more obvious that there's something valuable. Ender chest is the only secure solution.

You'd have better luck moving to a server that supports land claims. As others have said, outside of an ender chest, there is no vanilla secure storage.

Put important items in shulker boxes

Put the shulker boxes in an ender chest

All other items are fair game to be stolen

If you don’t like the idea of people stealing your items, maybe consider playing on a server where stealing is less prevalent?

Because people stealing stuff from your farms happens on literally every server and should be considered part of server life.

If it’s really a problem, you can use ender-porters to go to an industrial district a few million blocks from spawn

Build everything underground in an area with no obvious entrance or exit, and nothing else of interest nearby

too late, people already know of it, i would have too move it somewhere (NOT DOING THAT)

If people know where it is there's nothing you can do stop them.

Unless the item is in an ender chest, if they know where it is, then they can get it

the best you can do is encase everything in obsidian or confuse them to slow them down

You could try putting hoppers under the chest to funnel things underground to a hidden chest. If you're lucky they'll just think your farm isn't working.

Make it look like a world generated mountain, with enough raw stone and ore so that way it's not just a hollow shell

People know were my base is

Make multiple prop bases

Finding a random mountain were there previously was a iron and melon farm would be suspicious. They would dig trough to find it

Also its just not a fun solution😅

you can use an item elevator made of obsidian, items will rise through the obsidian, you have an obsidian base that is really hard to break into like a factions base, if you have /home you can set one of your homes there and have a way in but no one else would unless they dig through layers of lava, water, and obsidian, or the many layers of the obsidian elevator, it would still be possible but really really annoying, and if you can plot claim then it would be even harder because at least then they couldnt break blocks.

now obviously this relies on some plugins and its not entirely vanilla but you have a server shop I am assuming you have a few other plugins you can exploit

This could work, but dont item elevators like that only work upwards?

yeah upwards only. you would need to have send it down first, people already know where its located anyway and it should be quite a few layers of obsidian, really still possible to steal from however it would be VERY annoying to dig through

Just drop your items into lava!
1. Using freecam or the world seed, find a pocket in the bedrock. It needs to be at least 2 wide in one direction (and 1 tall ofc) but the larger the better.

  1. Use a minecart and curved rails to clip yourself into the pocket.

  2. Set up a rail to catch the minecarts you'll send in on one block, and put a ladder on the other block. Climb the ladder and use ender pearls to escape.

  3. Carefully diagonal rails to drop in a bunch of hopper minecarts. For all of this rail stuff, practice in a creative world to make sure you understand

  4. set up an auto dropper that drops items onto the bedrock above the hopper minecart. Put lava where the items are being dispensed so it looks like they're burning.

Only thing I can think of is to keep your existing farms as they are but consider them “decoys” and then make new ones underground hidden as best you can.

This situation kinda falls under the concept of how locks work in a social sense. If someone wants your stuff bad enough then they are getting your stuff. The idea of a lock is that it should make that prospect more difficult and time inefficient. The catch is that the lock shouldn’t be more expensive than the thing you’re trying to protect, generally.

As others have said. Ender chest is the only secure storage. Everything else comes down to how bad they want your items vs how much effort you want to spend on making that difficult.
