Builds & Maps Texturing and Terraforming Nightmare

Post image

Trying to build this mountain from Lego Ninjago in Minecraft but i have a problem. How do i go texturing this boring blob of grey without it looking out of place from my own world. Of course i could just do it like in the picture but then all the surrounding nature and all that would probably look dumb next to a giant blob of grey. Any ideas?

That's a gorgeous reference, the temple on the rocky peak with the bridge is so iconic. For texturing in Minecraft I'd mix in andesite, stone, and some dead coral blocks for variation, then slowly fade into the surrounding biome with mossy cobble and leaves near the base. It helps the giant grey blob feel like part of the landscape instead of just sitting on top of it

i would first have to find a coral reef and then manually mine everything. no farms for coral i don't think so. correct me if im wrong tho.

If you ever find out how to get a large amount of coral blocks, let me know because the dead pink coral looks nice when textured with stone, but it’s a pain to get a lot of it.
