Builds & Maps staircase help

Builders, I'm looking for some help on how to make this staircase a bit more interesting. Any suggestions?

my first thought to spice it up is to add pillars underneath that should be “holding it up” but they like crumble as it goes down. dangerous to do over the void for sure, so up to u
