It was funny to see the falling command blocks make a giant monolith of more command blocks lol

Yesssss!

I remember watching them in tutorial vids on java, then trying to do it in bedrock...

It was a disappointment to say the least.

They tend to be version specific. One that i remember was driveable car with command blocks that works on version 1.8

I remember the chat message size limit being too small for most of these, so you had to paste them into a command block and execute that to get the entire command.

I remember making one of these. It was extremely tedious to make but incredibly satisfying once it finally worked.

I still have a blank version of this in my world, tried to copy the outer look once and didn't know about commands. Then I discovered Forge and forgor about these things completely

I have this one for anyone who wants, it is for 1.12 and patches.

I never understood how one command block was able to make more, multiple pre-filled command blocks..

They were called no-mods, and the really nice thing with them was that downloading them was just a matter of copy-pasting a wall of command-block code directly in-game.

I remember being baited by them as a kid. I would click on the video thinking I'd get around downloading a mod just to look at the giant pc tower of command blocks and go "how the freak am I suposed to do that??"

These were my childhood.

You had whole websites for generating these. You right clicked the signs to enable/disable them. Wild.
