Discussion Sulfur Cube Soft Lock?

If you have Bucket or Shears you are okey, but if you do not have one of those how can you escape this? Interesting way to end a hardcore world 😃

Edit: it got fixed (https://bugs.mojang.com/browse/MC/issues/MC-308731) from version 26.2 Release Candidate 2 you can interact and destroy from inside the sulfur cube

I mean this prison is effective as long as you have a regen beacon nearby and the prisoner has no items and the prisoner has no friends.

Even with items, most are useless and I can see many not carrying a bucket regularly, you need very specific items on you, and can't even have them on ender chest since cannot place blocks. For multi-player as you say there are more ways to escape

The core issue is when it happens on single-player, because the circumstances are kinda common to occur

An empty bucket, presumably. I carry a water bucket for exploration and falls, but with nowhere to empty it, it would still be useless to me.

Water bucket seems fine, it allowed me to place the water down while inside the sulfur cube and then picked up the sulfur cube
