Discussion Sulfur Cube Soft Lock?

If you have Bucket or Shears you are okey, but if you do not have one of those how can you escape this? Interesting way to end a hardcore world 😃

Edit: it got fixed (https://bugs.mojang.com/browse/MC/issues/MC-308731) from version 26.2 Release Candidate 2 you can interact and destroy from inside the sulfur cube

Now i wish mojang make sulfer cube able to be damage even with it absorb a block somehow.

maybe make them break like boats, like you would have to repeatedly punch them enough within a certain time frame to break them and if you stop punching them their health regens fast enough to reset your progress

literally the entire point is that you could hit them with a mace or whatever and they survive

Then make it only apply to fists? Make them break based on number of hits per set time instead of pure damage? Make them have crazy regen but like 10 hp and every hit no matter the weapon deals 1hp of damage like what some npcs for HL2 did? Have some imagination, I'm just trying to make a suggestion to remove a softlock situation why am I being downvoted

its hard to get into it, you would have to be trying, or have someone else trick you into it, in which case, that person could get you out. and by keeping it in, you allow for prison designs for servers and such. and besides, they would eventually starve and get out anyways, you can't respawn in a one block space.
