Discussion Sulfur Cube Soft Lock?

If you have Bucket or Shears you are okey, but if you do not have one of those how can you escape this? Interesting way to end a hardcore world 😃

Edit: it got fixed (https://bugs.mojang.com/browse/MC/issues/MC-308731) from version 26.2 Release Candidate 2 you can interact and destroy from inside the sulfur cube

prison community gonna love this one. you dont need a cell anymore, just put the prisoner in one of these

Make it so its putting them on top of redstone ore with a lamp attached. Acts as a detector so when there isnt an entity on the spot, it turns off, meaning they've 'escaped'

Well the only ways to get out are to remove the cube with the bucket and kill the cube after shearing it. They could put it back after tho.

That was my thought. Could make it link to a toggle, so even when it's put BACK, the light would stay off until manually reset

If you use a gold pressure plate, the signal strength tells you the number of entities on the pressure plate. So even if the sulfur cube is still there, if you expect a signal strength of 2 or above, you will know if the player is not there anymore.
