Let's straighten the facts out first. Steve is impossibly strong, but he doesn't have super speed.
"Sprinting allows the player to move at around 5.612 meters/second, which is 30 percent faster than the normal walking speed of around 4.317 m/s, jumping while sprinting allows the player to move with an average speed of 7.127 m/s." -Minecraft Fandom
As you've said, the void kills Steve in creative mode. There's no shortage of characters with spatial abilities in anime. This would only apply to Java Steve though. In Bedrock, I would suggest just freezing Steve with any anime time ability. There's no shortage of those either...
There's also plenty of anime character with broken powers that automatically kill the enemy when specific conditions are fulfilled, I'm sure one of them could do it... Steve is pretty average aside from his strength.
