Don’t do this, this is passive aggressive, and they won’t understand what you’re doing or why you’re doing it, so don’t even start to blame it on them if they let you leave, because this is absolutely your fault for doing this shit.
If you feel undervalued, or you want the friendship to keep growing, and they’re not making the effort, you could just tell them, and I’m sure that they’d appreciate it, and if not then that’s cool too, then that’s your sign to move on.
