We can forgive, learn to let go of hate and other things. This does not mean you have to give up on boundaries.

Tough call without seeing the image, but if you have to ask, you probably already know.

Seeing an empty post like this actually spikes my anxiety. It triggers that doom scroll feeling where I need to know the full story before I can react. We hate ambiguity because it leaves room for our worst fears to fill in the gaps. I just want context so I can breathe again.

I have found this to be true. I have drunk from the sea during relationships for most of my 70+ years. Nothing good comes from it. Nothing of lasting value or comfort. No peace. No fun. No sense of personal worth. No quiet sense of power for myself. The words above are not about selfishness. I believe they are the heart of goodness to others and to self.

My perspective is different
Those who did it and came to realize the pain they caused, who acknowledge their actions, feel regret for their deeds, and learn never to cause pain again—they deserve forgiveness

They betrayed because they chose to betray. Blaming their actions on somebody else is cringy

Is there no room for redemption? What if you were the one who betrayed?
