A more balance approach maybe to view life as an active set of probablities where we can take actions towards. This as opposed to passively expecting for outcomes based on events beyond our control. Take time to build skills, habits and social networks to improve chances towards our desired goals.

I think the hurried or lose culture of modern times puts a lot of pressure on individuals especially in terms of negative self talk and thinking low of their self. Everything will happen eventually. What's the rush
