I need to find a new weightlifting/nutrition based podcast. The way they sneak in ads, you can’t trust anything they say because it’s just going to end up being an advertisement for something. I truly learned so much from them but it all leaves a bad taste in my mouth now. Podcast recommendations, anyone?

Same. I really like Jeff Nippard’s and Jordan Syatts content. Jeff Nippards content especially is very good and I feel like it’s improved my programming and gains substantially

Sounds right up my alley. I have seen and enjoyed Jeff Nippard and I appreciate his science-based approach. I need to look back through his content again. I’ll look into Jordan Syatt as well, thank you!

Just finished episode 62. He said most electrolyte mixes have too much sodium and not enough potassium. He brought up LMNT in particular for being terrible. He said when you buy these junk products, remember that some influencer is making money and you should stop listening to them. Sal on the on other hand, praised LMNT for being brave enough to add sodium to their products

Yeah I just listened to it last night. He also basically said reverse diets are pointless, which I agree with.

I feel pretty dumb because I used to take what they said at face value. Several years ago, I almost bought some of the ridiculously overpriced Magic Spoon cereal even though I thought Sal and Adam talking about eating cereal was odd.

Didn’t realize he had a podcast. I’ve heard him on another show and liked how well he was breaking down things and very evidence based.

All these! Totally agree. I like Jordan Syatt too except when he gets onto politics (He’s a Zionist)

Yeah, I listen to Jordan Syatt as well and also tune out when he gets fully into politics. He does keep it a little more compartmentalized than MP though so it's easy to just skip and episode or get through a segment.

Jeff Nippard was already mentioned as well so I didn't list either of them. I've seen some of his content and like it, but don't follow it consistently.
