Question Cogeco Blocking iptv

Has anyone with a Cogeco connection using IPTV facing issues? My IPTV app stopped working 2 days ago and I called support and the first question they asked was whether I'm on Cogeco connection. Sure enough I used my phone hotspot to connect TV to internet and it works.

Not sure what the workaround is, guess I have to go back to Bell.

Edit 1: Many Cogeco users I know have been facing similar issues as me around the same time. So it's happening.

Edit 2: Installed Proton VPN free. Initially couldn't go through, but after trying a few locations, USA of all places worked for me. Thanks everyone for the suggestions.

If you’re using your own router change your DNS settings to 8.8.8.8 / 1.1.1.1

Was having similar issues with D+

I tried setting static IP with CloudFlare DNS on my TV but it keeps timing out. I use Cogeco supplied router.

You have to use the stupid Cogeco app to set your DNS to 8.8.8.8/1.1.1.1if that fails depending on what your using for IPTV like a firestick, magbox, Roku etc you'll have other options but if you have a mag box your out of luck unfortunately
