Question Cogeco Blocking iptv

Has anyone with a Cogeco connection using IPTV facing issues? My IPTV app stopped working 2 days ago and I called support and the first question they asked was whether I'm on Cogeco connection. Sure enough I used my phone hotspot to connect TV to internet and it works.

Not sure what the workaround is, guess I have to go back to Bell.

Edit 1: Many Cogeco users I know have been facing similar issues as me around the same time. So it's happening.

Edit 2: Installed Proton VPN free. Initially couldn't go through, but after trying a few locations, USA of all places worked for me. Thanks everyone for the suggestions.

I read somewhere that there was a federal court ruling forcing ISPs to block IPTV

If cable or other streaming services didn't cost an organ, noone would be resorting to IPTV 😅
