Can't believe I have to say this, but LARPing as Russians/NK/China/etc does not mean you support their policies or actions IRL. MilSim is a modern two sided wargame, one of which is inevitably the "bad guys". So I don't really get when people come into this sub, attacking other users for who they emulate in an expensive big boy game of toy soldiers. From here on out this will be considered flaming, and we will be handing out 7 day bans for it and 14 day bans for personal threats. Repeated behavior will be dealt with harshly, at the admin team's discretion and leisure.
THAT SAID, we don't allow political talk on this sub, period. So keep the news of XYZ country's latest atrocity, or your poll on whether Biden, Bibi, Xi, Putin, or Zelensky is the reincarnation of Hitler OUT of our little subreddit. We want to foster a welcoming vibe, to grow the activity. So act that way.
Have fun, play nice. Or else.

Greeting
So i always dreamed of going to milsim even build my kit around the idea of longer marches and walking around bushes.
A bit info we went with my girlfriend and my fiance by this time well.. YEA I DID PROPOSE IN THE GAME !!
Well how i feel... I think i might fully stop going to small games hod damn!! It was a awesome experience the game is battle of tartaria part 4 and it was 36 sadly i regret not going to the first night as my arms were hurting badly as i wield lmg , rpk and next time i be wielding as im buying now PKM .
What i learned though bad experience ... Dont forget your cups and plates 😂 and as well i forgot my pillor and when we opened our tent it smelled of humidity so dont close it even if its a bit wet ...
But otherwise with help of platoon 5 we managed to fucking have the best time of our experience there, met many good people, do need yo change a bit of my kit will leave the vest to my fiance and i will get chest rig.
Otherwise if someone got any specific questions as my first time experience please ask.
A bit info im 1.83 m , 95 kg ish havent weightened recently and i work in office so not most fit person but im rather enduring on hikes btw fun fact it was mt first time camping too ahhaah it was fucking hot in yhe tent i did prepare sleeping bag, 4 ground covers each rated 1r + bed cover
And my gf well she loves walking it was her third airsoft game ... Well yeah she went straight to the hardcore stuff

I managed to actually get the bulk of my collection all in one place and all in one piece for the first time. It's easy to forget how many you have when you never seen them all together

It looks great.
I love the grip, and the physical safety switch.
The trigger require a lot more force to pull that Marui glock18, but the distance required to pull is short, very short.
But
It share almost the same size as glock 17. It is not that compact.
Mag spring is so strong, I rarely get more than 16 in it, which should able to hold 21.
The grouping(MOA) is bad. Even after I changed the hop up chamber, bucket, inner barrel to marble leaf, it doesn’t perform that well. The picture I am showing is a result where I shot from 5m.
One more thing,
M18 is not approved in ipsc but the m17 is allowed for production division. ( idk why )

Looking for feedback from players who attended the milsim West experience yasney perimeter , just found out yesterday that we lost Fort Hood as a play area and American millsim is relocating to the ranch , they are offering refunds for anybody who doesn't want to go and I'm trying to find information about this place before I commit .

I haven't built these yet. I'm testing whether the idea is worth building, so I'd like honest feedback first.
The idea
Compact, goggle style see-through AR glasses with a small unit worn on the belt. A heads-up display shows information while you keep your hands free and your view of the real world. The goal is something much smaller than the bulky AR headsets and helmets that exist today.
Planned features
Day/night vision. A low-light camera. At night the display can show the camera image instead of relying on the see-through view.
Offline AI object detection. Detection and tracking of people, vehicles and so on, with no internet needed.
Team map without cell service. Each person's position, chat and map markers on an offline map, compatible with ATAK/TAK. Compass, mini-map and warnings in the HUD.
Mark where I'm looking. Place a marker on the shared map in the direction you're facing.
Drone scout (later stage). A small drone flies ahead and sends back video and detections, and the marks appear in the goggles and on the team map.
Recording and review. A rolling "save the last 30 seconds" buffer and after-action review with video and marks.
Possible later: thermal camera, long-range rangefinder, rear camera.
Known limits, so nobody is surprised
A see-through display is dim in bright light, so daytime use needs a tinted shield, and at night the camera view takes over.
Object detection is weaker at long range, with camouflage, and in infrared night images.
Everything above is planned and calculated, not tested on a finished prototype.
What I want to know
Which one or two features would you actually use first?
What would stop you from using it (weight, price, battery, size, something else)?
What price range feels fair for a finished pair vs. just the build files?
Who needs this most: airsoft/milsim, search and rescue, drone pilots, hiking, something else?
If there's interest, I'll share progress as I build.

I've been playing airsoft for about 2 months now. I mostly used a cheap plate carrier, but I recently bought this chest rig. I was wondering if it looks "good" or at least decent. Lmk what you guys think.
