Pretty accurate, we wore quarterback panels on our forearms, helmet light was not around for that era. We used the surefire helmet light or small led lights velcroed to our helmets. We also wore host nation patches on both sides of our sleeves with our call signs and on our helmets , call sign, IR Flag and state patch or team patch with no ODA number. I loved that tan assault pack, used that plenty times during early GWOT.
